The Leadership Incubator is a 12-month program for professional women in engineering consulting and construction who are done doing it alone.
✦ You're the most technically capable person in the room and still second-guess yourself before you speak
✦ You have a team member who's struggling, and you're not sure how to have that conversation without it going sideways
✦ You've sat in workshops that gave you good ideas and changed nothing six weeks later
✦ You could count on one hand the number of women you know in your industry who are at your level — and most of them are too busy to connect
✦ You're leading well by most measures. But you know you're carrying it mostly alone.
✦ Civil Engineering degree from U of Calgary — entered a world where women were the exception, not the norm
✦ Led complex, high-pressure projects for 20+ years — technically excellent, leadership lessons learned the hard way
✦ Coaching certifications from Integral Coaching Canada and Positive Intelligence
✦ Wrote Inside Out Empathy in 2017 — the book I wished had when I started out
✦ Launched the Tactical Empathy podcast — over 100 episodes
✦ Years of 1:1 coaching, watching the same patterns emerge in brilliant women across the industry
The Leadership Incubator is the program I built after 20 years of needing it.
I'm the woman who came before you and left the door open.

Seven weeks of neuroscience-based mental fitness training. Together, you'll learn to recognize and quiet the internal voices that sabotage your leadership, the one that says you're not ready, not enough, or not allowed to take up space.
I will lead two sessions per month focused on self-leadership, navigating tough conversations, developing the people around you, leading with influence (not just authority), and building trust across complex environments. You leave each session with something you can use.
Direct access to me for the conversations that belong to you alone. Your specific situation. Your specific team. Your specific crossroads. This is a genuine coaching relationship built over 12 months.
A group of professional women in engineering and construction who are serious about their growth and invested in yours. Peer support, accountability, real talk, and connections that outlast the program.
An intentional rest and reset to step out of the work and back into your own leadership vision. Connect with your cohort in person, integrate twelve months of growth, and return to your work anchored and clear.
✦ You're a woman working in engineering consulting or construction — in any role where you lead
✦ You're ready to invest seriously in your leadership — not consume content, but do the work
✦ You're done with one-day programs and want something that actually sustains over time
✦ You crave connection with women who understand your specific professional world
✦ You want to lead with more confidence, less friction, and a lot less isolation
✦ Women who are looking for a passive learning experience
✦ Leaders who aren't willing to be honest about what's not working
✦ Anyone who doesn't work in the engineering/construction consulting space — this container is specific by design
The Incubator is designed for leaders who are actively in the work, not people on a career pause. Sessions are structured to fit a working schedule. The real question isn't whether you have time; it's whether you can afford to keep deferring your development.
No. If you're leading people or projects — formally or informally — this program is relevant. Many participants will be mid-career; some will be more senior. The cohort design means everyone learns from where others sit.
The program is virtual-first (workshops and coaching), so geography isn't a barrier. The retreat location will be in Western Canada — but designed to be accessible. The focus is on the North American engineering consulting and construction sector.
Alumni can stay inside the program at a reduced monthly rate — access to the community, workshops, and continued connection. You've built something real over a year; this keeps it alive.
Yes — this qualifies as professional development. Many participants may be able to expense all or part of the investment. We can provide documentation to support that conversation.
If this is interesting to you but you'd like to learn more first, I'd love to hear from you. Send me an email, and we can talk one-on-one, or book a quick chat — no pressure, just a real conversation.
